PDP Chieftain Extols Accountant-General’s Sterling Qualities
A renowned politician and former Assistant Public Relations Officer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Rivers State, Pali-Alabo Maxwell Fubara, has extolled the sterling leadership qualities of Ama-Opu-Senibo Siminialayi Fubara, on his appointment as Accountant-General of the State by Governor Nyesom Wike..
Speaking with journalists in Opobo on the elevation, Fubara said that Siminialayi Fubara was a great and dependable leader and a gentleman, whose humility and generosity was remarkable.
According to him, “it is remarkable how a man of greatness can show respect to both the young and old, and as a man who superintends over the assigned duties by government previously, Sir Sim has demonstrated a great capacity in the management of public office”.
Fubara maintained that the elevation of Sir Fubara as Accountant-General of the state by the governor remained a call to serve the state and its people in such a magnificent capacity.
He, therefore, thanked the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike on the appointment of a worthy Opobo son into such an exalted position of trust, describing it as, welcome development and assured that he (Fubara) would use the opportunity to bring his wealth of leadership experience to bear in the herculean task.
He urged young men and women to emulate the sterling leadership qualities and eschew all forms of criminalities, in order to succeed in life.
Meanwhile, Pali-Alabo Maxwell Fubara has called on all and sundry in the State to rally around the Governor to produce more people-oriented development programmes and projects by working in tandem with the present dispensation in the State for better results in the years ahead.
