Stakeholders Laud Wike Over Commissioning Of Rebisi Flyover

Some stakeholders in Rebisi Kingdom in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State say the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike is second to none in the infrastructural development of the Kingdom.
They spoke to The Tide during the commissioning of the Rebisi flyover constructed by the Governor at the weekend in Port Harcourt.
According to some of the stakeholders, “the current activities of road network expansion is one good stride that requires commendation.
“Only a true leader with a deep sense of responsibility can endeavour to ensure development and His Excellency, Chief Ezenwo Nyesom Wike is that good administrator whose resolve to develop the state is unrivalled,” they said.
The Eze Risi Ohia of Rebisi Kingdom, Eze Christopher Wonodi told newsmen that the flyover bridge had improved the aesthetic condition of that part of Port Harcourt City.
Eze Wonodi said the impact of the project would be tremendous as it would boost transportation and other businesses.
The second class traditional ruler also said the situation had also improved the environmental condition of Rebisi Kingdom.
Also speaking, Abali Youths Council President Comrade Manuchimso P. Lemmy said the people of Rebisi kingdom would remain eternally grateful to Governor Wike for his urban renewal programme in the state.
Lemmy said, apart from the flyover bridge, the Governor had also embarked on several road projects across the kingdom and the entire Rivers State.
“It must be noted that this is not the only road project that this administration has embarked on and completed.
“The sign of the good works of this administration is spread throughout Rivers State,” he said.
He also said Governor Wike had set a pace for upcoming politicians to emulate.
Also speaking, Palace Secretary to the Eze Risi Ohia of Rebisi, Prince William Chinwo said Governor Wike’s achievements would be difficult to beat as far as Rebisi Kingdom was concerned.
Chinwo said the project was not only for the people of Rebisi Kingdom but the entire Rivers State.

Rivers Judiciary Denies Issuing Court Order Stopping SOLAD from Swearing in RSCSC Members
The Rivers State Judiciary has denied a media report claiming that Justice Frank Onyiri of the State High Court issued an injunction order restraining the Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd), from inaugurating the newly appointed members of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission (RSCSC).
In a statement issued by the Deputy Chief Registrar in charge of litigation at the High Court, Menenen Poromon (Esq), the state Judiciary disassociated itself from the report, describing it as malicious and fabricated.
The statement emphasized that the report was a falsehood and a misrepresentation of what transpeared in the court.
Poromon clarified that no such order was issued by Justice Onyiri or any other judge of the High Court of the state and urged the public to disregard the information, as it lacked any iota of truth.
The statement however advised the public to verify any information concerning the state Judiciary directly from the office of the Chief Registrar, High Court of the State, to avoid spreading of misinformation.
