Alausa Shuns 3SC
Plans by Shooting Stars to sign former League hot-shot Kabiru Alausa appears to have hit the rock.
General Manager and Technical Director of the team, Mutiu Adepoju said recently that the Heartland FC player has gone missing.
“As I speak with you now, Alausa is nowhere to be found. This is a very unprofessional behaviour, and by his action he has not indicated if he truly wants to play for us,” he said.
Earlier reports suggested that the former Julius Berger player was 3SC’s number one transfer target and actually looked all set to sign up for the former African champions after starring in a couple of friendly matches, but those people seem to have come to naught with the player’s disappearance.
Meanwhile, Adepoju has disclosed that four players have been short-listed and will append their signatures for Shooting Stars this week.
The players are Sylvester Ebiakwu, a right wing back from Nasarawa United, Sunshine Stars’ left winger Nofiu Taiwo, one time 3SC centre back Yomi Adigun and Shuaib Mohammed, a central defender formerly of Niger Tornadoes and Kwara United.
