We’re Determined To Fight For Rivers People -Banigo

The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo says the Governor Nyesom Wike-led administration is determined to fight for the collective interest of the Rivers people.
Banigo stated this while speaking at the Mega Global Prayer Quake and Silver Jubilee Anniversary of Ministers Prayer Network at the International Convention Centre along Aba/Port Harcourt Expressway, Obuzor-Asa, Abia State, yesterday.
Represented by her Director of Administration, Ben Roberts, Banigo insisted that the government would continue to implement strategic policies and programmes that would benefit the generality of the people.
She attributed the government’s present stay in office to the prayers of Christian bodies in the state, particularly at the trying period of the 2019 elections, noting that the government would continue to identify and partner with the church.
The deputy governor said the theme of the conference, “The Turning Point” is relevant and appropriate at this time of our national life, stressing that the year 2020 is the turning point of a new decade, while the month of January begins the decade and the new year.
Banigo expressed appreciation to the Ministers Prayer Network for facilitating the raising of godly and prophetic leaders that has continued to transform nations and states through prayers and godly leaders.
In his welcome address, the International Coordinator of the Ministers Prayer Network, Rev. Mosy Madugba said the 2020 Global Prayer quake is unique as it will usher MPN into her season of unusual answers, multiple divine visitation and uncommon testimonies.
He said this year’s conference which coincides with the Silver Jubilee celebration of MPN would be a turning point encounter with the Holy Spirit for participants.
