‘Wike Not Anti-Muslims’
The Chairman of Petrochemical, Fertilizer and Indorama Transporters Association of Nigeria, Rivers State, Alhaji Danladi Zaria, has debunked rumour that Governor Nyesom Wike is anti-Muslims.
He said this while reacting to the hundred day’s celebration of the Governor in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt.
Alhaji Zaira said Governor Wike has created the enabling atmosphere as well as guaranteeing lives and properties of northerners doing business in Rivers State.
According to him, despite damaging rumours in some quarters against his administration towards the alleged Rainbow Town Mosque, the executive of the association and the people of Kaduna State remain committed to working with the Rivers State Government to achieve set goals.
He said Nyesom Wike has no plan to destroy mosques in Rivers State, adding that all muslims prayer centre are intact”.
Alhaji Zaira also applauded the chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Barr Philip Okparaji for his role in ensuring that the association operate smoothly at the Eleme Petrochemical and his effort in the decongestion of traffic at the Akpajo-Petrochemical axes of the East-West Road.
He assured Governor Nyesom Wike of their support in all endeavours, adding that the northerner’s forum in the state will always support the Governor to achieve success.
