Delta Police Command Gets New PPRO
Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, has been appointed as the substantive Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO of the Delta State Police Command headed by Commissioner of Police, Adeyinka Adeleke.
A statement signed by the command stated that Onovwakpoyeya replaces ASP Orisewejie Chuks who is now redeployed as the 2i/C PPRO, Delta State Police Command.
The statement said the new PPRO, Onovwakpoyeya holds a Bachelors degree in Industrial Mathematics from the Delta State University, Abraka.
“She has also attended capacity building courses on humanitarian principles and international standards of law, efficient and effective investigation/prosecution of cases and workshops on Gender Based Violence just to mention but a few.
“She is married and has children. Her hobbies include reading, writing and playing of lawn tennis or badminton as the case may be. She can be reached on phone: 08137059499,” it read.
