Wike’s Victory, Best Thing For Rivers People -Okah

A traditional ruler in Elele in Ikwerre Local Government Area in Rivers State, King Okechukwu Okah has joined the long list of exited Nigerians in describing the re-election of Barr. Wike as governor of Rivers State as the best thing to happen to the people of Rivers State.
Okah, who is the Eze Omekwa Ali Omukprikwu maintained that he was not surprise over Governor Wike’s landslide victory at the poll, having seen the way and manner the good people of Rivers State had turned out in their large numbers to vote massively for him.
“Infact, the overwhelming support accorded to Governor Wike during the 2019 guber election is a true attestation that over 90 percent of Rivers people actually needed him for the second term in office, based on his numerous achievements that has position bearing on the lives of the masses.
“Besides, Rivers is a PDP State and Wike is also on ground hence, I wonder the kind of magic any visiting political party would have performed to beat him (Wike) who was like God sent to liberate the people of Rivers State from abject poverty.
He however, prayed that the good people of Rivers State will continue to support Governor Wike who had shown no pretence in transforming the state better than he met it.
“ Honestly, I stand to be corrected that more people oriented projects would be executed by Governor Wike in this second term having known him as a visionary leader that has the interest of the of the masses at heart”.
The royal father called on the oppositions to sheath their swords and join hands with Governor Wike to move the state to the next level, as any good transformation done in the state now would be for the interest of Rivers people and not for Governor Wike alone.
The well informed traditional ruler who is out spoken in nature nevertheless prayed God to continue to grant Governor Wike wisdom and strength as he prepares to take up the challenge of piloting the affairs of the state for the second term.
