Eucharia Anunobi, RMD Feature In New Nollywood Movie, Zero Hour
Following the boom in cinema business in Nigeria last Yuletide, the Jig is about to return with a much anticipated film titled “Zero Hour,” a thriller from the director of the celebrated 30 days in Atlanta’ and a trip to Jamaica, Robert O. Peters.
Coming to the cinemas across the country on March 22, 2019 ‘zero hour’ is a star studded film starring the ageless Richard Mofe Ddamijo (RMD) and returning old Nollywood flame, Eucharia Anunobi in a story of love, business and crime with other screen delights like Alexx Ekubo, Ali Nuhu, Rahama Sadau, Ayoola Ayototla, Halimar Yusuf and a noteable cock crew at Dawn actress Ene Oloja who is making her debut in the film.
Zero Hour is a Romantic thriller with a lot of family love, business, money lundering, crime and murder, all hanging around its fold. It was produced by native media and EKD Production, Directed by Robert O. Peter. A collaboration of Galaxy Transportation and Construction Services Limited as xxecutive producer, Native Media white stone pictures and FKD production.
Zero Hour tells the story of Zamani (Alexx-Ekubo) in only child and heir apparent of the Ceo of Galaxy Limited who returns to take back is fathers business empire in the mix are his uncle and guardian, Danlami David (RMO) his cousin Awwal (Ali Nuhu) and his love interest, Zee (Rahama Zadau).
Supporting the award winning Director, Robert O. Peters on the project is a Canadian based film maker and TV Producer, Rogers Ofime, as producer and Ali Nuhu who brought together seasoned film makers like Samuel Jonathan (DOP), Mutaini Jimoh (sound recorder), Mayowa Labiran (Art Director), Supervising producer, Ronke Oshinjobi, Uzee Usman (associate producer, Bamidele Akingbulu (costume designer) and a host of others.
According to Ofime, Producer Series, ‘Tinsel,’ Zero Hour which was largely short in Abuja, had the support of FCT’s biggest fashion houses like Vodi, Eljargo Coufure, Pink Flour, Sly royal and Grazee stitches. The movie is distributed by Genesis cinemas, Real Buzz for Zero Hour began after an official trailer was released on February 18, 2019.

They Booed, Threw Bottles At Me – Tems Recounts
R&B star, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has recounted the early-career challenges she faced, revealing that she was once booed out of the stage while performing at a school event.
Speaking in an interview with Newsmen, the Crazy Tings crooner shared that she wasn’t only booed but was also harassed with plastic bottles.
“I remember one time I was going to perform at my school as an up-and-coming singer and I thought I was going to receiving a standing ovation.
“But I got booed. They even threw plastic bottles at me,” she recalled.
Tems explained that despite the embarrassing incident and other such rejections, she remained determined to pursue a career in music.
The Tide Entertainment reports that Tems admitted that some of the initial rejections she faced could be due to her conviction to stick to her originality instead of doing covers or familiar sounds like most of her peers.
The Grammy-winning singer said looking back now, she is glad that she didn’t compromise her style despite the initial pressures.

Primeboy Pleads For Mohbad’s Burial
A close associate of late singer Mohbad, Primeboy, has appealed for the artiste’s burial nearly three years after his death.
According to him, Mohbad’s body remains in the mortuary since September 12, 2023, pending burial arrangements.
The Tide Entertainment reports that in a statement Primeboy urged the family, public, and government to permit the burial, stating, “It’s been almost three years since Mohbad left us. His body is still in the mortuary. I’m begging the family, I’m begging the public, I’m begging the government, please let’s bury our brother. He deserves a befitting burial.”
It would be recalled that Mohbad’s death sparked public outrage, protests, and investigations. Ongoing autopsy examinations, police inquiries, and legal proceedings have delayed burial arrangements amid family disagreements and public scrutiny.
