The Eze Egi, Eze Kingdom Elemchukwu Elenwo has urged the people of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area of Rivers State to embrace the forthcoming voters registration exercise to enable them participate in the 2011 general elections.
Eze Elenwo who made the call at his Akabuka palace at the end of this year’s new yam festival, known as Egu Egi said participation in the electoral process remains the sure way of voting for the candidacy of Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in his second term bid.
Eze Elenwo used the occasion to thank the state government for upgrading the Eze Egi stool to second class status, adding that the governor’s track record of development projects justify his second aHterm bid.
