Nine Cargo Ships Expected At PH Port
The Management of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Rivers Port, says nine vessels with an import tonnage of 50350.05 carrying various cargoes are expected to berth in the port this weekend.
The cargoes in the incoming vessels include bulk wheat, bult salt, Jet A1 and containers.
Others include Frozen Fish, AFO and crude.
This was contained in Daily Shipping Position made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt, yesterday.
The statement also listed the names of the incoming nine cargo ships to the port and its agents.
The Daily Shipping Position gave the names of the vessels as MV Frio-Oceanic, with De-Rock as agent, MV. Bold Voyager with Derron as agent and MT. MSC Maria with MSC as its clearing agent.
Other vessels named include, MT. Richmond with Fountain as clearing agent, MV. Rig Majestic, with ACE prothesis as clearing agent, MV. Frio Olympic having Echo World as agent.
The list continued with MT. Hallam with Derron as clearing agent, MV. Pala Hallam with Allison as agent and MT. Ihem with Millsara as agent.
The statement added that three ships are already in Port Harcourt pilotage district discharging cargo such as bulk wheat, frozen fish and Gympson.
The NPA Daily Shipping Position added that berth 8 is undergoing construction in Rivers ports.
