Clergy Tasks Chiefs On Community Dev
An Anglican Priest in Rivers State, Rev. Chris Eke has called on traditional rulers and chiefs to see their positions as divine and be prepared always to give account of their stewardship.
Rev. Eke who was admonishing the chiefs during the coronation of 13 titled chiefs of Rumuadaolu community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area recently said the prosperity of the community lay in the hands of the chiefs.
The clergy who also led a session of prayers for the people urged the chiefs to use their position to judge the people rightly, pointing out that the outcome of their decisions would affect the destiny of the people positively or negatively.
