The Port Harcourt based side had on Wednesday evening inside the Stade Robert Champroux Stadium in Abidjan defeated the Ivorians 1-0 for a 6-0 aggregate scoreline.

Sharks had earlier defeated the Ivorians 5-0 at the Sharks stadium.
With the result, the Blue Angels as they are fondly called is now set for the semi-finals in Lome, Togo next month.
Meanwhile, fans of the club have commended the team over their brilliant performances in the championship.
They want the government to give the club the necessary support to ensure that the Sharks boys bring the trophy to Port Harcourt.
According to Douglas Ibieneye, a staunch Sharks supporter, “We are awaiting the arrival of the trophy in Port Harcourt. The team has shown that they have the quality and experience to take on Africa and we are happy for this feat.
