Missionary College Honours Obuah
Another feather has been added on the cap of the Sole Administrator of the Rivers StateWaste Management Agency, Bro.Felix Obuah as the students and management of the prestigious Godsword Missionary College, Igwuruta in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the State conferred an Award of Excellence on him.
Presenting the award to the RIWAMA boss at the corporate office of the Agency in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, the proprietor of the school, pastor AllwellOnuoha said the award on Obuah was given in appreciation of his humanitarian services to society.
Onuoha, who described Obuah as an exceptional philanthropist and lover of education, urged him to keep up the good works and never to relent, assuring that God is faithful and rewards all acts of kindness.
He said the school was especially thankful to Obuah for his love for the church.
His words: “ We find in you a man with a Godly heart who loves the church of Jesus Christ, despite the denomination. We find in you a man who renders help to the poor, weak and old irrespective of religion and socio- political affiliation’’.
In his response, the RIWAMA Sole Administrator, Bro. Felix Obuah, who is also the State Chairman of People Democratic Party (PDP), thanked the school for the honour and promised to do more as God gives him the enablement.
He charged the students to take their studies seriously and shun truancy, examination malpractices and all forms of social vices including cultism, as they would be inimical to their academic pursuit.
As leaders of tomorrow, Obuah urged the students to work hard, adding that the good legacies which Governor NyesomWike is laying in the state are for their benefit.
Highlight of the event was a special rendition of song in honour of the RIWAMA Sole Administrator, Bro. Felix Obuah before the presentation of the Award of Excellence on him.
