NDBDA Emphasises Commitment Towards Catchment States
In a bid to retain its position in the society, the management of Niger Delta Basic Development Authority (NDBDA), has said that it would continue to collaborate with groups and organizations under its catchment states visited him in him Port Harcourt, recently.
He pointed out that the aim was to enable the authority deliver on its mandature. West also said that engagement of youth in Agriculture would be another reason for the corporation’s decision.
He said water supply, quality control and rural development more listed among the aims of the commission’s.
Also speaking, the project co-ordinator, Hydro Carbon pollution remediation project (HYPREP), Dr Marvin Dekii, noted that he was at the commission’s promises to that the way formward over the challenge of water supply in Ogoniland.
He was of the view that re-activation of all existing water projects in the area would do the people a better deal.
Dekii, also solicited for the list of all existing water facilities executed by the authority in Ogoniland.
Other groups like the Rivers State Independent Publishers Association (RIVPA), who spoke through, its chairperson, Ms Gloria Harry said they came to strengthen media ties with the organization.
She also sought for collaboration with the management of the commission in its attempt to rid touts off journalism profession.
The groups which visited the organization include Rivers State Independent publishers association (RIVPA), Hydro Carbon pollution remediation project (HYREP) among others.
