LG Boss Swears-In CTC Members
The Caretaker Committee Chairperson of Ogu-Bolo Local Government Area, Mary Minaseichinbo has sworn-in and assigned portfolios to memebrs of the committee.
Those sworn-in include, Pastor Williams Kalaiyo-Supervisor for Works and Transport, Comrade Jones Adokiye –Supervisor for Health, Oruma Constance for Agriculture and Natural Resources. Sampson Enenemibo-Ofori, Education, Nelson Obom for Youths and Sports Development and Mrs Keturah Ibeawuchi for Women Affairs.
The rest are Mr Emmanuel Isaac Minabere, Secretary to the council while Hon Fiberesima Minaseichinbo was appointed Chief of Staff.
Speaking while inaugurating the members of the committee, the Committee Chairperson, Mary Minaseichinbo enjoined them to see their appointment as a call to serve the people and not to enrich themselves.
She further urged them to work as a team with understanding and do their best in the interest of the people and development of the local government area.
Minaseichinbo solicited for the support and co-operation of all to move the area forward and thanked Governor Nyesom Wike for giving her the opportunity to serve her people, describing him as a women-friendly governor.
She lauded the political class and the leadership of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area for the confidence reposed in her and assured that she would live up to expectation.
The council boss solicited their co-operation and support to enable her take the local government area to the next level.
In their separate speeches, the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Hon Arnold-Davids, the Secretary of the party, Chief Faith Amaso and the State Financial Secretary of PDP, Hon Tonye-Aberenika charged the new CTC members to work harmoniously with the chairman as they are fortunate to be given such opportunity and described the chairman as a dedicated members of the party with good character.
Responding on behalf of the CTC members, the Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr Oruma Constance pledged their unalloyed loyalty and support, adding that in collaboration with the chairman, they would actualize set goals and bring dividends of democracy to the door steps of the people.
Meanwhile, all existing committees have been dissolved by the council chairperson with immediate effect.
