Expert Seeks Dev Of Software For Pension Managers
Mr John Obaro, Chief Executive Officer of SystemSpecs, a software firm, says there is a need for the development of a multi-faceted software that will facilitate the job of pension managers.
Obaro spoke on Tuesday in Lagos during the ‘Remita’ Workshop for Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs) and Pension Fund Custodians (PFCs) organised by his firm.
He said that SystemSpecs developed the ‘Remita’ Pension solution to make life much easier for pension managers.
“Remita Pension is a world class electronic courier service that rides on Payment platforms to deliver funds to bank accounts and associate schedules to relevant bodies in pre-specifies format.
According to him, it is a cumbersome process for employers to deal with the PFAs.
He said that as employees leave and join the organisation, the “Remita’’ solution system would on a monthly basis compute the amount due to each employee and what should go to the PFAs.
“These whole processes can easily become a nightmare, so that is why we developed the solution to make life easier for the employers.
“So, we are meeting with the key players in the industry, the PFAs and PFCs, to show them the capabilities of the solution,’’ Obaro said.
He said that the solution has multiple security features that would secure funds and data.
Obaro said the features include: encryption, online certificates, firewall, PIN/PAN, dynamic security access codes, continuous anti-hacking defences and monitoring.
