Glo Launches Harmony Tariff In South Territory
In order to bring further benefits to loyal subscribers on its network, Globacom, Nigeria’s national operator, has introduced a new tariff plan for subscribers in 4 states in the South South region of the country.
Tagged the Glo Harmony Tariff, this new option will enable subscribers to make calls to any network at the very cheap rate of 49k/sec or N29.40k/min without any additional cost, making it the lowest rate offered by any GSM network.
Speaking during the launch of the new Harmony tariff in Port Harcourt, the Glo Business Director, South South, Mr. Kunle Akanmu said that the tariff is cheaper, attractive and economical since there are no rental charges and calls are charged at a low, flat rate of 49k/sec, no matter the network the subscriber decides to call.
“This means that if a Glo Harmony customer initiates a call from the covered states in the South South, he will be charged a flat rate of 49k/sec for calls to any network of his choice. If the call is initiated outside the home zone, then he will be charged the normal tariffs such as applicable to Classic PIus, Classic or Talk More”, he said.
The states covered by the new tariff structure in the South South are Rivers, Abia, Cross River and Akwa Ibom.
“To enjoy the new attractive tariff, Glo subscribers in selected states should simply dial *103*1*1# or send “City” to 300 to activate the harmony tariff plan. Also customers can call 5 Glo lines at 25k/s (N15/min). The five numbers can be registered as follows: *101*1*mobile number#, (one number at a time). The plan is very economical and is available to both new and existing prepaid subscribers”, said Akanmu.
Speaking further, Akanmu urged all Glo subscribers to embrace the new tariff and spread the gospel of the new package which offers the cheapest calls to any network.
“We also urge you to seize the opportunity offered by this amazing tariff plan to strengthen your relationships with your friends and family, grow your businesses, enhance your educational pursuit and rule your world”, he said.
