The Secretary of NAM, Uruemu Adu, made the disclosure to newsmen yesterday in Lagos.
The 10th African Masters Athletics Championships scheduled for August 23 to August 27 in Abidjan, Cote d’Iviore, is among the activities highlighted by NAM for the year.
Tidesports gathered that Nigeria’s 16 athletes won 30 gold, six silver and three bronze medals at the last championships in Limbe, Cameroun.
Adu appealed for support from corporate organisations and individuals to sponsor the athletes to conquer the African region.
