Iron Rod Dealers Hail Wike’s Projects
The Governor of Rivers
State, Chief Nyesom Wike, has been commended for his infrastructural developmental strides in the state.
A member of the Iron Rod Dealers Association (IRDA), Kala Branch, gave the commendation in a chat with The Tide, in Port Harcourt on Friday.
The Chairman of the association, Mr Chidozie Benard, who also spoke on behalf of the dealers, eulogized the governor, describing him as a Godsent leader of focus, whose track records would be difficult to beat.
He noted that the governor has giant strides in road construction and thanked him for constructing the Kala Road leading to NTA/Ada George Road, which he noted would play a big role in decongesting traffic on adjourning roads.
Furthermore, he noted that the road after completion would has made enhance their business and other businesses along the same road and enjoined the governor not to relent even in the face of adversities.
He used the opportunity to appeal to the governor to provide the IRDA a piece of land adding that their present location was not big enough to accommodate them.
He conveyed IRDA’s support to the governor over the measures he has put in place to combat crime, and prayed God to give him wisdom to diligently discharge his duty.
Odunayo called on the people of the state to rally round the governor and his team to continue with their goodwork, and restore the state to its former glory of Garden City status.
