Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), Dr Emi Membere-Otaji, has described the upcoming Business Luncheon programme being organised by the chamber as a strong commitment to business and economic excellence.
According to the Chamber’s President, “the programme will enrich businesses, promote networking on a broader platform and also provide interactive opportunities for sectorial players to key into vistas of economic opportunities.”
Speaking to newsmen on the benefit of the programme slated for Thursday in Port Harcourt, Membere-Otaji said Port Harcourt remains the best destination for corporate bodies, captains of industries, MD/CEOs, government and other agencies and urged them to take advantage of the event.
The event which is slated to hold at Obi Wali International Conference Centre, the President said, would be an assemble of key players in pubic and private sectors of the economy including top government officials, captains of major industries in the state and key federal agencies like Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, Nigerian Export Promotion Council, NEXIM Bank, Bank of Industry amongst other high profile participants.
The theme of the event is, “Business Opportunities In Nigeria-Beyond Oil,” and the paper shall be delivered by the chairman Phillips Consulting Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Mr Foluso Phillips.
The event which has the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Barr. Nyesom Wike as Special Guest of Honour, he said would provide a veritable platform for the convergence of government and the business community on a broader perspective for addressing and proffering solutions to current critical economic questions affecting the growth of business in Nigeria and Rivers State in particular.
Highlight of the event include the launching/unveiling of “Commerce Port Harcourt Magazine,” and other notable speakers would deliver speeches.
