RSG Removes The Tide, RSTV GMs, Others
The Executive Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike has directed the removal of the General Manager, Rivers State Newspaper Corporation, publishers of The Tide Newspapers from office.
Also removed from their posts are the General Manager, Rivers State Television (RSTV), the Director of Programmes, Director Operations, Library Supervisor, and Announcer (Otunuahia Azuwenia) all of RSTV.
In a statement released by the Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Dr Austin Tam-George, the governor directed all the affected persons to hand over immediately to the staff next in line.
