Ex-RIWAMA Boss Drums Support For Wike
Former chairman of the
Rivers State Waste Management Authority (RIWAMA), Chief Feddy Inimgba has called on people of the state to come together irrespective of political party affiliation and support Governor Nyesom Wike in the discharge of his duties.
Speaking with The Tide in an interview in Port Harcourt recently, Chief Inimgba stressed the need to encourage leaders rather than destroy them for self reasons.
“People of Rivers State should eschew political bickering and join hands to make the state move forward”, Inimgba said, adding that it was the responsibility of all to ensure that peace reigned in the state.
Thanking God for Governor Wike’s victory at the Supreme Court, he noted that the state chief executive had within a few months in office done what any right-thinking human being could appreciate.
“Graciously, we must thank God for giving us a leader like Wike, and for his election and transition”, Inimgba stressed.
He blamed the seeming insecurity in the state on politicians who do not respect and fear God, saying that it was senseless to kill fellow humans for the purpose of contesting election.
According to him, development could only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, love and tranquility, stressing the need for politicians to play the game with the fear of God and regard for humanity.
