NPA Partners Firm On Ports Infrastructure Dev

thority (NPA) is set to partner Japanese firm to improve infrastructural development at the nation’s ports.
The Managing Director of NPA, Mallam Habib Abdullahi disclosed this to journalists in Lagos on Monday after a meeting with the Japanese delegation from Yachiyo Engineering company Limited.
Abdullahi said that NPA Management will welcome the infusion of Japanese advanced technology in critical areas of infrastructural development of the nation’s ports stressing that the ports authorities will list out its comprehensive technical and infrastructural needs for the assistance of the Japanese firm.
He said that NPA under his leadership is currently involved in massive infrastructural renewal projects ranging from the ports authorities corporate headquarters to quay length rehabilitation in Onne ports and Warri ports respectively.
The NPA boss said that the management would soon unveil the ports 25-year development plan which is a compendium of development projects conceived to be executed through public private partnership (PPP) stressing that NPA would continue to partner with the Japanese firm and government on Training of its staff.
