Council Plans Isiodum, Unyeada Link Road
The Andoni Local Government Council says it has commissioned a consultant to work out feasibility study on the construction of a link road between Isiodum and Unyeada communities in the local governemnt area.
The council chairman Hon. Emilia Gilbert Nite who disclosed this during a reception to the government of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
Also speaking, the royal father of the day, HRH King Israel Otuo thanked the council boss for her developmental effort in the local lovernment Area.
The royal father further charged the youths to shun violence as development cannot take place in an atmosphere of chaos.
In her honour by the Isiodum Patriotic Movement said that the road will open up the area for development.
Hon. Gilbert Nte, also said that the council will ensure the completion of the Isiodum health centre started by the council while the on-going water project in the area will also be completed.
The ANOLGA boss thanked the movement for the reception and urged the people of the area to give their full support.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Rivers State Local Government Service Commission, Chief Ephraim Sobere Etete-Owoh urged the people to give their support to the council administration.
He thanked the council boss for identifying the developmental need of her people.
Speaking earlier, the secretary of the reception planning committee, Mr. Ukata Philip Festus, urged for the council support in the realisation if the association set goal.
