Peace In Rivers, Paramount -Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, says peace in Rivers State is paramount to the stability and development of Nigeria.
Speaking during a visit to Governor Nyesom Wike on Monday in Government House, Port Harcourt, Adeboye stated that he was in the state as part of his yearly visits to the various provinces of the church.
The RCCG General Overseer said he has special interest for Rivers State, saying, “if there is problem here, I dont sleep too soundly. If there is a problem here, I don’t stop praying.”
Adeboye prayed for the peace and prosperity of Rivers State, and expressed delight to be in the state.
On his part, Governor Wike noted that the visit portends great things for the state ,while pointing out that prayers of men of God have contributed in keeping the nation united and at peace.
The governor informed the RCCG’s General Overseer that his administration was anchored on God, noting “we cannot do anything without seeking God’s face.
He, therefore, urged the man of God to always pray for the betterment of the state, stressing that Rivers State will always seek the grace and protection of God.
Wike also prayed for good health and vitality for Adeboye to enable him carry on with his divine calling for the benefit of society.
