Cleric Urges Christians To Embrace Jesus Christ
Christians have been
advised to look unto the Lamb of God who died on the Cross of Calvary to wash away sins of mankind and be delivered from condemnations.
The District Pastor, Trustee of Faith Tabernacle Congregation Nigeria (FTCN), Port Harcourt District, Pastor Gabriel Farayola, gave the advice in his sermon during this month’s combined communion service held at the church headquarters at No. 3, Bolo Street, D/line, Diobu, Port Harcourt.
Farayola said as Christ died for the sins of mankind, there was need for all to reciprocate by giving their lives to him and worship him in spirit and truth as our Lord and personal saviour.
According to him, Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection indicated that He died for mankind to live, and urged all to live for Christ.
The man of God, who took his text from the book of St. John 1 vs 29, on the theme, “Behold the Lamb of God”, admonished all Christians to give their lives to God now as tomorrow would be too late.
“Look at the path he went through at Gethsemane for our sake. Behold, the Lamb of God was sorrowful until his death and has resurrected to live forever”, he said, reminding all that the Lamb of God gives comfort, good health, deliverance and salvation.
Pastor Farayola further cautioned on the wages of sin which is death and called on all to surrender their lives to Christ today without delay.
