EX-Tide Manager Dies At 77
The death has occurred of former staff of the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC), Publisher of The Tide Newspaper, Prince Emmanuel Joseph Amajiri.
He died on 15th April 2015 after a brief illness.
Aged 77, late Amajiri retired from the corporation after 35 years of meritonous service. He retired as Manager Extimation.
He had also served the corporation under other capacities as Proof Reader, Writer and Commercial Manager.
Late Amajiri would be remembered for his strong commitment in training most staff of the corporation in Extimation.
A devout Christian, Amajiri was Super Apostle with the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Nigeria.
A statement signed by son of the deceased, Kingsley Amajiri, said he would be buried tomorrow in his home town, Umuagwuozia-Eberi in Omuma local government area of Rivers State after a Christian wake-keep today.
According to the statement, the body will leave the mortuary in the morning of tomorrow to his compound to be followed by a funeral service. Interment follows immediately after the service.
