Ogu/Bolo PDP Restates Commitment To Unity .Expresses Readiness For LG Polls
The leadership of the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State has expressed gratitude to members of the party for their unalloyed support and conduct during the just – concluded elections.
The chairman of the party, Hon. Arnold Davids made the assertion during a thank you get-together held in Port Harcourt recently.
Davids said they decided to host the members for their collective efforts and performance that enabled the party emerge victorious during the elections, and enjoined them to remain focused and more committed while expressing optimism that the PDP would win the forthcoming Local Government elections in the area.
The Ogu/Bolo PDP chairman thanked them for their response despite the short notice, and charged them to maintain that zeal.
Also speaking, the Rivers State House of Assembly member representing Ogu/Bolo Constituency, Hon. Evans Bapakaye Bipi appealed to members to further build a united front as one family, and reiterated the need for all to be their brothers keeper.
Bipi said the leadership should endeavour to carry all along in whatever functions in order for them to enjoy the dividends of democracy, appealing to all to remain resolute for the better days ahead.
In his remarks, the secretary of the party and former caretaker committee chairman of Ogu/Bolo LGA, Chief Faith Amaso assured members that the leadership would not disappoint them in ensuring that their efforts were recognized as they work assiduously for the victory of the party in the area, and thanked all for their turn-out.
