MD Sues For Establishment Of Musical Hall In Rivers
The Managing Director of Hamilton Technology Limited Senibo Sobere Diri has called for the establishment of a musical hall in Rivers State to enable youths to develop their potentials.
Senibo Diri, who said this during the 2010 Easter choral festival organised by the Rivers State Broadcasting Cooperation in Port Harcourt, also called for programmes that will take care of the elderly and those who contributed towards the development of the state.
The Hamillton Technology boss, who chaired the occasion, announced a cash donation of N500,000 for elder Okoli Harcourt Whyte and others, as well as N100,000 each to the 50 choral groups that participated in the festival.
In her welcome address, the General Manager of the Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation, Ms Medlin Tador said that the festival, which was initiated in 2004 was intended to create a non-denominational platform for the exaltation of God and to bring the general public to a place of relaxation during the Easter season.
