Group Campaigns Against Cervical Cancer
Following the deadly effect of cervical cancer on womanhood, the Port Harcourt University Medical Students Association (PUMSA), has planned a campaign to raise awareness among the people of Rivers State.
The Association’s President, Mr. Jaja Promise, who said this in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt, said the campaign was part of the health week of the Association which begins on Sunday.
The week according to him, will feature dedication service of the chapel of Annunciation, University of Port Harcourt, health walk, sensitisation of the community on cervical cancer, symposium, as well as a thanksgiving service.
Mr. Promise called for public support to enhance the success of the week and its target of creating awareness against cervical cancer.
