Simplified Movement Inaugurates Ward Executive Committees
The Simplified Movement in Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State has inaugurated 221-member ward executives for the 13 wards of the local government area.
Inaugurating the committees in Buguma, recently, the leader of the Simplified Movement, ASALGA Chapter, Chief Paworiso Samuel Horsfall, charged them to vigorously propagate the policies and programmes of the administration of the Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, in a peaceful atmosphere.
He described Governor Fubara as an advocate of peace and a resolute leader who has remained focused in his deliberate intentions to genuinely deliver dividends of democracy to Rivers people.
Chief Horsfall said the people of Asari-Toru Local Government Area are in total support of Governor Fubara in unity under the Simplified Movement, and commended the leaders and members of the GDI who recently joined the Simplified Movement in ASALGA to declare their support for Governor Fubara.
He commended Governor Fubara for his developmental strides in ASALGA, and assured the people of more development in the years ahead.
Highlight of the occasion was also the inauguration of 195 newly appointed members of the expanded wards elders and stakeholders forum.
