Police Arrest Man For Defilement Of House Maid
The Rivers State Police Command has arrested one Kolowale, a 42-year old offshore oil worker for allegedly defiling his 13-years-old female house maid at their residence at Ejekwu Street, Eneka in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the State.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, who confirmed the development to journalists in Port Harcourt, Wednesday, said the suspect has been detained, while investigation was ongoing.
The Tide gathered that the suspect was arrested by the Human Rights Desk of the Rivers State Police Command Headquarters, Moscow Road, Port-Harcourt, following a compliant by concerned neighbours of the suspect to whom the teenage girl was alleged to have run to after she was allegedly defiled by the suspect.
It was further gathered that some women in the vicinity had allegedly examined the private part of the teenage girl to ascertain the veracity of her claim and was shocked to have observed the level of damage done to the minor’s private genital organ as a result of forceful penetrations by the suspect.
A source disclosed that the women who examined the victim based on strength of what they saw, quickly alerted the police on the incident and eventually effected the arrest of the suspect.
It was reliably gathered that the result of medical examination conducted on the teenage girl showed that her private part was penetrated.
