RSG Rolls Out Activities To Celebrate Governor Fubara’s 100 Days In Office

Rivers State Government has unveiled the sequence of activities earmarked for the celebration of the administration of Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s 100 days in office.
The activities were announced during a press briefing by the Secretary to the Rivers State Government, (SSG), Dr Tammy Wenike Danagogo in his office in Port Harcourt, yesterday.
Explaining the line up of events, the SSG said the celebration was not about fanfare but showcasing of projects executed by the Governor for the benefits of Rivers people.
He disclosed that the 100 days in office celebration covers a month-long commissioning and flag-off of projects, kick starting with a state broadcast by the Governor today, Wednesday, 6th of September, which is the Governor’s exact 100 days in office, to inform the people of the policy direction of his government.
This will be followed by a marathon project commissioning, commencing from tomorrow, Thursday, 7th September, with the flag-off of Elelenwo internal roads construction.
The other line of projects commissioning and flag-off include: Friday 8thth of September, Dental Maxillofacial Hospital, Saturday 9th September, Government Secondary School Eneka, Monday 11th September, Ngbodaya internal roads, Tuesday 12th September, Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Borikiri.
Saturday 16th September Alode- Onne Road
Monday 18th flag-off of Emuoha -Ogbakiri Road.
Tuesday 19th, commissioning of Botem Gbeneue Horo Road in Tai LGA.
Wednesday 20th September Omagwa internal roads
Thursday 21th September Kelsey Harrison Specialist Hospital,
Saturday 23th Ogo Ihugbogo road in Ahoada East LGA,
Monday 25th flag off of Igbu Ihuda internal Road, Tuesday 26, Oyigbo Okoloama Afam Road, Wednesday 27 September, Government Secondary School Okehi, Thursday 28, Flag off of umuakali Eberi road,, Friday 29 September, Aleto, Ebubu, Eteo Road, also known as old Bori Road. Saturday 30th September, Government Secondary School Alesa Eleme.
Monday 2nd October, Uniport Convocation Arena. Tuesday 3rd October, Eneka Internal Road. Wednesday 4th September, Ogbakiri internal Road. Thursday 5th October, Government Secondary School Emuoha. Friday 6th October, flag off of Bori Internal Road. Saturday October 7th Government Secondary School Ataba, while the project commissioning will end on the 9th of September with commissioning of udemude Road in Ahoada .
The SSG was accompanied during the Press briefing by the Commissioner of Works Dr George Kelly Alabo, Commissioner of Health, Dr Adaeze Ore, Commissioner of Special Projects, Engineer Emeka Woke and Commissioner of Education Prof Chinedu Mmom.
