Council Set To Inaugurate Staff Quarters, Hall …Okays Solar Powered Pipe-Borne Water
Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State has approved the inuaguration of 12 units one bedroom flats on two suspended floors for council staff quarters and Prince Kariboye George Amachree’s Hall in Da George’s Compound, Buguma, headquarters of the LGA.
This decision was reached during a meeting with the Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Onengiyeofori George and the Directors of the Council in Buguma, recently.
Secretary of the LGA, Hon. Ipalibo Braide, who spoke to newsmen shortly after the meeting, said the chairman, together with the principal officers and directors of the council, unanimously approved the commissioning of the completed projects in the days ahead.
While reading out the decisions reached during the meeting, Hon Braide further said the council boss also approved the remodeling of Opruama Health Centre, disbursement of funds for students grants, installation of solar powered pipe-borne water in Abalama Community, remodeling of Asari-Toru Legislative Assembly, and the construction of civic centre in Angulama Community.
