RSU Announces 41st Matriculation Ceremony ….As SUG Notify Students On Hostel Clearance
Rivers State University (RSU) has announced her 41st Matriculation Ceremony to the Rivers State University Community as well as candidates who were offered provisional admission and have accepted the offer of admission into Year One and Direct Entry for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.
The University made the announcement in the school internal memo dated April 3, 2023, signed by the Registrar, Dr Sydney Enyindah, and made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt.
The statement enjoined the University community, students and well wishers to come on time to ensure a successful ceremony.
“This is to inform the RSU community that the 41st Matriculation Ceremony for fresh students of the 2022/2023academic session is scheduled for Wednesday 19th April 2023 by 9am at the convocation arena.
“All staff, students and the entire university community are hereby invited to grace the occasion to ensure a successful matriculation ceremony.
In a related development, the President, Students Union Government of the Rivers State University, Comrade Apollos Ogan, has signed and sent out notice to students of the University on hostel clearance.
Ogan stated that the hostel clearance as well as signing in has officially commenced.
He said: “The time for the clearance and sign in ranges from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. We therefore advise the students, who were able to book hostel to clear and sign in before it will be given out to those who shows more interest.”
The SUG President, while appreciating all those that made the University their choice, charged them to remain positive, focused, especially in their studies, so as not to be found wanting at the end of the academic session.
