Making the declaration in his office to newsmen, midweek, the Commissioner for Education, Prof Prince Chinedu Mmom, urged all Heads of Public and Private, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools in the State to resume the First Term of 2022/2023 Academic Session on Monday.
He said it was expected that all Schools operating in the State “comply with the schools’ resumption date, in accordance with the 2022/2023 academic calendar as approved by the Rivers State Government, in order to achieve a smooth academic year and best delivery of quality education in the State”.
The Commissioner used the opportunity to welcome back all the Students, Principals, Head Teachers, and Non-academic Staff of Schools.
