Seven Ships With PMS, Others Arrive Eastern Ports, Today
The management of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA ) says a total of seven ships laden with different cargoes will arrive three Eastern Ports, today.
They are Onne, Warri and Calabar Ports, operating in the South-South region.
This was contained in NPA Weekly Shipping Position published by the Authority and copy made available to newsmen.
The publication said the ships would arrive at different berths and terminals to discharge their cargoes.
Vessels for Onne Port are Bos Boutros and Kota Suria; Vessels for Warri are Zonda, Milem, St. ZeeZee and Safe Sea Neha ii; while Beaumont vessel will berth at Calabar Port.
The Authority gave the names of the shipping Agents for Onne as Marine Mercantile and Pil Nigeria Limited.
Agents for Warri include Peaks Shipping, Awesome WAPS and African Integrated Service (AIS), while Calabar Port is AIS.
The statement added that the seven ships were laden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), AGO, Bulk Urea, Containers and Float Glass/Tiles.
It noted that the arrival of the ships would boost and stimulate socio- economic activities in the three States and its environs, increase trade and commerce in the South-South region.
NPA urged traders, importers, businessmen and those working in the maritime sector to expect a boost in trading activities.
