Rotary Club Presents Charter Certificate To Stella Marris College
It was indeed a delightful sight to watch as Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Passport District 9141 Nigeria recently announced the chartering of her body club-Interact Club of Stella Marris College, Port Harcourt.
The well event, which was held inside the school premises, saw the President of Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Passport District 9141, Rtn. Preba Babalola presenting to the newly chartered Interact Club of Stella Maris College President, Rtn. Chibuzor Anya, the charter certificate and other working materials,.
Speaking in an interview, Babalola said she was excited with the formation and successful chartering of the Interact Club which according to her, was like a project that would not be possible to execute at the initial stage.
She, however, charged the interactors to be committed and focused as well as ensure that all the necessary working materials including the charter certificate provided to them were jealously guided.
“In fact, we will not remove our eyes in monitoring the activities of the Interact Club so as to make sure that they do not deviate from the focus of its formation in the comity of other interact clubs in Nigeria,” she said.
The visibly elated Babalola further revealed that she is proud to say that Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Passport under her watch, has done numerous projects that have positive impact on the lives of the masses with the help of God.
Also speaking, the Assistant Governor to Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Passport District 9141 Nigeria, Rtn. Nkeiru Enyie equally took time to encourage the young interactors to work hard and not to allow the club to die.
“On a serious note, we are believing that the young interactors will make us proud by recording some remarkable progress in the near future and possibly graduate to become Rotractors,” she said.
On his part, the Project Chairman of Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Passport, Rtn. Anthony Chime urged the young interactors to see themselves as being lucky at this time and continue the good journey they have started which would change their life style soonest.
Chime also commended Babalola for her untiringly efforts and hard work, describing her as one who is always focused and committed in achieving good results in all her endeavours.
In his response, the President of the newly chartered Interact Club of Stella Marris College, Rtn. Chibuzor Anya said they cannot thank members of Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Passport District 9141 enough for presenting them a charter certificate of recognition with other working materials for their fellowship, and assured that they will not disappoint but to keep the flag flying.
