Four Ships With LNG, Urea, Others Arrive Eastern Ports, Today
Management of the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) says a total of four ships laden with different cargoes are billed to arrive two Eastern Ports, today.
The two Eastern Ports are Rivers Port Complex and Onne Port, operating in South-South region.
This was contained in its weekly shipping position published by the Authority and copy made available to newsmen.
According to the publication, the ships would arrive at different berths and terminals to discharge their cargoes.
The Magazine gave the names of the vessels for Rivers Port Complex as Little Louise and ESL America, while Nordic Stavanger and Golar Snow vessels would berth at Onne Port respectively.
The Authority gave the names of the shipping agents for Rivers Port as Jfdor and Comet Shipping Agencies.
It also listed the names of the agent for Onne Port as Woven and GAC Shipping Nig Limited respectively.
The statement added that the four ships were laden with Liquidified Natural Gas (LNG) Inballast, Bulk Urea and Bulk Malt.
The statement noted that the arrival of the ships would boost and stimulate socio- economic activities in the three States and their environs, as well as increase trade and commerce in the South-South region.
NPA further urged traders, importers, businessmen and those working in the maritime sector to expect a boost in trading activities.
