Football Enthusiast Warns Eguaveon On Players Experiment
A renowned football buff in the state, Warisenibo John Dodd Peterside has stressed the need for Coach Austine Eguaveon led Super Eagles team to insist in maintaining his good starting winning team instead of trying to experiment in introducing some less fenced players that would not make much difference in a progressive team.
Peterside who stated this in an interview in Port Harcourt, Observed that it was in doubt that Eagles players were in their best element against Pharoahs of Egypt and Sudan during last two games, mostly the opening game against Egypt.
He maintained that it is high time Coach Eguaveon should stick firm in his winning team selection if he really hope to go far in the ongoing Nation Cup in Cameroon.
“Though, I still commend the Eagles team for winning a good side like Egypt in the Nations Cup game in Cameroon but that does not mean that the battle is over instead effort should be geared towards ensuring that the Eagles players be encouraged to play to instruction and never allow her first victory run into their heads .

Poor welfare forced me to dump Delta for Enugu, says world – Nwachukwu
The sudden departure of Nwachukwu, a multiple gold medallist, from Team Delta to the Coal City, Enugu , sparked controversy within the sports family, with officials of Delta State Sports Commission accusing the president of the Paralympic Committee of Nigeria, Sunday Odebode, of manipulating the system for the athlete to dump the state.
But Nwachukwu, who broke the World Record to win a gold medal for Team Nigeria in the Women’s Discus F42 event at the just-concluded Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, has cleared the air on the circumstances that led to her movement to Enugu State.
Speaking with The Tidesports source report, shortly after winning the gold medal, Nwachukwu said: “It is not true that anybody aided my movement from Delta State to Enugu. Rather, it was Delta State that forced me to leave because of poor remuneration.
