Ships With Petroleum Products, Frozen Fish Arrive Lagos Port Today
About 18 ships laden with various products are expected to berth at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Lagos Complex today.
This was contained in the Authority’s Weekly Shipping Positions published by NPA and issued to Newsmen.
The Weekly Shipping Position noted that the 18 ships were laden with petroleum products, food stuffs, frozen fish and general cargos.
NPA said the ships were due for arrival from 10th January to 17, 2022 and would berth at Lagos Ports complex.
The Position also indicated that the ships were carrying bulk sugar, frozen fish and bulk gypsum.
Other items in the ships include general cargoes, bulk salt and butane gas.
Similarly, NPA said eight ships had arrived the ports waiting to berth with general cargo, bulk wheat and bulk sugar.
The Magazine reports that other nine ships had arrived at the ports waiting to berth with bulk sugar, general cargo, base oil and bulk wheat.
The Management also noted that the arrival of the 39 ships would spark off socio-economic activities in Lagos and its environs and boost trade and commerce in the maritime industrie.
