Six Ships Arrive Two Eastern Ports, Today
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says a total of six ships laden with cargoes would arrive two of its ports today.
The NPA Weekly statement gave the destination of the vessels as Onne and Rivers Ports in Rivers State.
The statement made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt at the weekend gave the names of the vessels for Onne Port as Eleousa, Navios Ulysses and George Trader, while vessels for Rivers Port are Bold Mariner, Gannet and King M.
The ships were scheduled to berth at different terminals in the two ports.
According to the Shipping Position, vessels for Onne Port would berth at Inters FOT, Berth 5; Intel’s FOT, Berth 6 and West Africa Containers Terminal WACT, FOT, Berth 7.
At the Rivers Port Complex, the ships would berth at Terminal A, Berth 1; Terminal A, Berth 2 and Terminal A, Berth 4.
The statement also gave the names of the shipping agents for Onne Port as Samcham Holdings Limited and CC Nigeria, while agents for Rivers Port are Super Maritime and JFDOR.
The ships, the statement further said, were laden with bulk salt, bulk wheat and gypsum for Rivers Port Complex and bulk fertilisers and containers for Onne Port.
The statement gave the length of the vessels as190,189.99 and 189.38 for ships billed for Onne Port and 185.74, 33.7 and 181.16 for the Rivers Port.
