Varsity Bursar Rates Wike High On Infrastructural Dev
The Acting Bursar of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Mr Victor Karibi Ikiriko, has commended Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for his infrastructural revolution in the State.
Ikiriko said this shortly after being conferred with an Award of Excellence by the Joint Assembly of Rivers Youths in his office in Port Harcourt.
The Acting Bursar said Wike has shown leadership and capacity to deliver democratic dividend to the people of the State, given his numerious projects littered across every community in the state.
According to him, the projects of Governor Wike are littering across every communities in the state.
He also advised Rivers youths to shun cultism, drugs abuse and other vices as it will not do them any good.
The Bursar also cautioned against restiveness, stressing that time has come for eeryone to support the state government to move the state forward.
Earlier, while presenting the award, the President, Joint Assembly of Rivers Youths, Comrade Gershon Bobmannuel, said the award was in recognition of the Bursar’s is excellent performance in administration and proficiency in the service of the university.
According to him, the award was to encourage other public officeholders to put in their best in the service of the state and humanity.
“This award is coming at a time when moral decadence and deterioration have crept into our society.
“So when we see excellent performance by any Rivers man, we rush to celebrate him”, he said.
Bobmannuel said the group will continue to identify with people whose aspirations are geared towards creating opportunities for the youths of the state.
He also thanked Governor Wike for his youth friendly policies.
