Police Partner Traditional Institution To Curb Crime
The State Police Command has assured that lives and properties will be protected in the state with the help of traditional institution.
The commissioner of police, CP Eboka Friday, made this known during his official courtesy call on the state chairman of Traditional Rulers Council in Port Harcourt.
Eboka stated that his aim of visiting the traditional rulers was to seek fatherly advice and blessing.
In his response, the state chairman Traditional Rulers Council, King Dandeson Jaja called for synergy between the state Police Command and the traditional institution in the state.
He promised that the traditional rulers would work with the police in order to curb crime in their locality and asked for adequate security for members of the council.
