Enyimba Struggles To Beat Dakkada In Aba
Tosin Omoyele’s solitary goal earned Enyimba FC a 1-0 win over Dakkada FC in NPFL week 18 match on Monday.
Enyimba hosted Dakkada FC at the Enyimba Int’l Stadium but struggled to create many chances despite seeing more of the ball.
Omoyele scored in the 2nd minute after a good work down the right Stanley Okorom.
Stanley Okorom collected a pass from Oladapo on the right flank, then beat his marker with the first touch before squaring the ball for for Tosin Omoyele who slotted it in through the legs of Olawale Oremade in the goal for Dakkada.
The former Osun United striker now has four (4) goals in the ongoing season for the People’s Elephants.
Omoyele missed golden opportunity to make it 2-0 in the second half. Ozor drilled a good pass to Olatunji who located Omoyele from the right side of the box, but the striker could not connect well with the ball from six yards and it rolls out for a goal kick.
Also Gabriel Orok and Victor Mbaoma also missed very good chance to double Enyimba’s lead before the referee brought the game to a close .
Enyimba now have thirty (30) points from fifteen (15) matches and are now 5th on the log with three (3) games in hand.
