Vandrezzer’s Coach Explains Team’s Visit To PH
The Head Coach of Vandrezzer Football Club of Akwa Ibom State, Rafael Eventon, has said that players of the club came to Port Harcourt to build a fan base and attract more supporters to the club.
According to him, Port Harcourt is one of the most prominent cities in Nigeria, as everybody wants to be in Port Harcourt to gather more fans.
Eventon said this in a media parley organised by the club on Wednesday, at Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt.
According to the Brazilian tactician, he chose Vandrezzer FC because he loves the philosophy of the club.
Vandrezzer FC is currently playing in the Nigeria National League (NNL)
“I have other proposal for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), but I could not go because I love the philosophy of Vandrezzer FC as they have a target to gain promotion to NPFL,” Eventon said.
The former Abia Warriors coach expressed happiness for taking over the coaching job of Vandrezzer FC, adding that the club has come to stay in Nigeria.
“We are in Port Harcourt to play some friendly matches.We play friendly match to keep the players fit and teach them some tactics of the game,” he stated.
