Rivers Angels Hope To Continue Women League Dominance – Okpe
Rivers Angels attacking midfielder, Blessing Okpe, has stated that the reigning Nigeria women Premier league champion will be out once again to ensure a successful title defense.
Okpe speaking in a chat with newsmen said the Port Harcourt based side will not look down on other teams because they are aware of the threat posed by many teams who also have what it takes to compete for the women league title.
“We’re really looking out to defend our championship like we always do and we are working hard just to make sure we keep winning every time.
“We are getting prepared for it and we are very happy that the league is about to kick off again. The situation now is that no team is a pushover, every team has what it takes to play in this premier league.”
