Stakeholder Wants Of Drainages In Community
The Chairman, Community Development Committee (CDC), Mr. Christian Aaron has pleaded with the Rivers State Government to consider the construction of the Chokota Ikwerrengwo road.
Mr. Aaron who made the call in an interview with The Tide during a meeting of Community Development Committee (CDC) in Etche Local Government Area said that the road presently is impassable.
Mr. Aaron who is the coordinator of CDCs in Igboh Clan, Etche Local Government Area said that the road is very strategic to the economy of the state as most vehicles going to Aba and other parts of the East pass through it.
According to him, the bad state of the road has paralysed economic activities in the area. He therefore called for the construction of drainages in the area to check the frequent flooding and erosion in the area.
