2019: ‘Federal Might’ll Not Win Election In Delta’
Director General Okowa 2019 Campaign Flow, Hon. Bemigho Ofoeyeno, has urged Deltans to ignore threat by All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders to impose their candidate, Chief Great Ogboru as governor of the state, describing it as a huge joke.
According to him, incumbent Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa’s re-election in the next few months is already assured; stressing that the governor’s laudable achievements speak volumes of his performance.
“Election is not about using federal might, rather, the people of the state have already endorsed Senator Okowa’s and, they (APC) should be told that there is no vacancy in Government House, Asaba, this year,” he stressed.
Ofoeyeno who is also the National Secretary, Atiku Campaign Stream, remarked that Deltans were also aware of APC antics to hijack the election, stressing that Chief Ogboru and his party faithful will be shocked and disappointed at the end of the exercise.
“It should be made known to APC members that Delta is a PDP state. Nobody or other party can rival the strong and solid presence PDP has built in the state,” he stressed.
