Chinese Club Jostles For Zaha
Wilfried Zaha could be the next African star on his way to China Chinese Super League club, Dalian Yifang has reportedly tabled a massive bid in an attempt to lure Wilfried Zaha away from Crystal Palace.
According to the Daily Mail, the Chinese outfits have made an incredible £44million offer for the Ivory Coast international that would make him one of the best-paid players in the division.
The bid would also see Zaha’s weekly wage at Selhurst Park tripled. Fellow Africans Odion Ighalo and Cedric Bakambu are among those that have profited from the riches of China while fellow countrymen, Didier Drogba and Gervinho are also among those to have plied their trade in the Asian country over the years.
Zaha, 26, has attracted a lot of interest from the Eagles’ English Premier League rivals over the past year, but eased questions regarding his future by penning a new deal at the club in August.
The former Manchester United winger has scored three, assisting a further three goals in 15 league matches for Palace this season.
